Im going to get one of these shortshift things and the nylon bushes from LMF
My gearlinkage has been dodgey for a couple of weeks now and has been adjusted but still isnt right...will this kit replace my linkage or replace most of it or will i still need to get a new or decent linkage?

normally the bushes in the centre of the s thing that go. lmf sell nylon ones which are great. sometimes the bushes go that hold the black parts to the silver s shape. id image vauxhall will still sell them although im unsure of how much.

Nic when you fitted the quick shift kit where you able to set the gearselector up as you would a standard? by locking the box and the selector and tightening the bolt?

Been told f28s don't like to be set up using that method. When i done mine i just played around till it got it. Maybe be ok on a other Box though Davie. Nic how much of the selector rod gets caught by the pinch bolt?

On mine the gearstick rod just goes inside the gearlinkage,so the pinch bolt just catches it. Does yours go in quite far? If you know what i mean.
