I dropped my xbox (dont ask how) and now my call of duty cd is scratched :S and when im inplay it comes up with the error message saying your disc is dirty
Do Blockbuster fix scratched cd's?

Yes they do but i suspect it has been Laser burned , you may have to buy a new one.

Try installing the game to the HDD (Game Library -> MW2 -> Install Game). If it makes it to the title screen you will be fine, might have to borrow someones working copy of the disc though to install it if it cant copy all the files over.
edit - and why were you carrying it when its on? You shouldnt even move the box while its on otherwise it fucks up discs

the game was on the stand.. I tripped over the internet cable.. and that brought the console to the floor
I have just been to blockbusters and the matey cleaned my CD for £2.. still doesnt work
I cant copy my game to the hard drive because the error message comes up like when its on 20%
What if I uses my brothers cod cd.. copy that to the hard drive?

but
whats to stop 1 of your mates buying the game and then just giving it to all his mates to copy on there HD?

polish the cd with car polish, give it a good buff then try it. sorted my fifa by doing that

You need the dvd in the drive to work, just checks its real but does read the game data off it, basically made for your situation.

You still need the game to boot to the game's main menu screen from disc, it just reads everything else off the HDD, which is why if it gets to 20% it might still work

brake fluid works best, just smear it on the leave for twenty mins before rinsing. worked on my forza 3.
