alrite ppl i realy need a hand i need a clutch for a 1.6 16V sport but i got the prob that my car is a engin transfer the engin came from a W reg 2000 modle and i dint nar were the engin number is could some 1 point me in the rite direction or knows what type of clutch i need thanx

How is knowing what the car was before going to be usefull??
The engine number is on the front of the block, or the V5 when the engine was put in there it should have been put on there (by LAW). You could always just get a lightened flat type flywheel & convert it (as its likley to be a pot type) then you'll deffo know what one it is

the car was a 1.4 16V befor engin swap but the car is on a p reg and engin from a younger year W

TBH it wont matter what engine was in the car before only then engine that is in it. the engine number is on the front of the block on left hand side of exhaust manifold iirc. if you STILL cant find it like i said it should be on the V5 unless your a pillok and not changed it.
