Insurance runs out on the M£ in a few weeks.

Been getting quotes, Some are just silly daft, some are ok-ish.

Ive noticed that excess on offer (for a decent price) has increased a fair bit. Im sure ive only got a £200 or so excess just now!

Currently looking at:

Elephant - £704.75 with a £500 excess

Swindon - £635 with a £900 excess

Aviva - £643.43 with a £550 excess

Aviva quote was done on a comparison site (even though the claim not to do business through them!) when done through their own site was £1700, so i'll need to double check the details ken

I bloody hate doing this!!

Go onto Admirals website and do a quote with them. For some reason the website just doesn't annoy me and they are really really helpful!

I'm 20 and insured the tow with them for £550! £400 excess as well

Surely you must be able to work out a deal with them as you have long periods when you aren't actually driving it?

Think we get charged more tbh because they have this warped idea that after spending a fortnight away from civilisation all we do is hit the pub then drive high powered cars
