Whats best way of getting rid of spyware?
Got McAfee on my works laptop said its quarantined said spyware.
But on start up i have a windows popup saying I should do a full system scan as its threat level 5.
Was going to download avg but work had a lil go at me coz it interferes with McAfee
Any Ideas?

McAffee is rubbish mate, if work are making you keep it then that's a bit gay. You would need to uninstall McAffee before putting another anti-virus on anyway because you can't have two. Anyway, AVG is for homos Avast ftw.
Try using SUPERantispyware, Spybot and MalwareBytes Anti-Malware and see if it gets rid of it. You can have as many anti-spyware programs as you like.

you don't need to remove your anti-virus software to use anti-spyware tools. i'd reccomend malwarebytes too as i had to use it myself a few weeks back and it did the job.

No probs mate, glad to hear that it's going well
You can keep McAffee and use as many anti-spyware programs as you like, however you cannot use more than one anti-virus program at a time because they will conflict with each other.
AVG was fine back in the days up to v7.5, but ever since 8 was released it's been an awful program and something to avoid. I could go on but I'm trying to keep this short
