after a decent one BUT all the ones so far i have seen for doorframes are a lot wider then the door frames. In my house all the doors are next to walls so these wont fit, shame really as I like the look of them. Tempted with a wall mounted one too, but ideally one that can be removed as they look ugly
any help?
cheers

What about the ones that go between the two sides of the doorframe? Not as good as those hook on ones but if you havent the room they are better than nothing.

i have use of one at the gym, just fancy one for home
just measured up against the door frame and i wouldnt have my hands any wider then my internal door frame
might just go with a proper wall one and move it to the garage once its built

I had one of the door frame ones a while back...had it as tight as humanly possible. I was in the middle of a set of chin-ups, then WHACK, the bar came free, hit me on the head. Think I was out cold for a few seconds!! I've since invested in my own home gym with it's own bar on it = muchos safer!
