i have 8000k on the BMW

I prefer them to 6000k

Cant go wrong with either 6000k or 8000k

Normal 4300k against 8000k

The lower the K usually means the whiter they are as they go up to 8K and so on they go more blue i.e the new golfs use 12k i think

And the law states that you must have Washer jets and auto leveler's fitted.

Doubt you will do though. No one who fits them themselves bothers and just blinds people!

I found the 6k when driving was a better light - I had 4300, 6000 and 8000 in my C in projectors. 6 & 8 were best to drive with, 4300 was most factory looking from head on.

I have 6k in the van and XE now too.

Getting HIDs is the only reason I've still got my angel eyes - the projectors look 100x better than the halogen lamps with them.

4300 or 5000. 6 and 8000 are blue no matter what anyone says

i've got the 5000k myself and the light is bright crystal white with the tinyest bit of light blue/purple when u look at angles

I bought some 8000k's for the omega when one of the originals went dim.. I have to say it looked a bit tacky! Got to agree and say go for 6000k.

Also if you havent got projector lenses be prepared to get flashed at all the time and probably fail your mot.

Although to add to that I did pass my MOT with my HID's and I don't have projector lenses, when he put the thing up to test it there was a definite line of the bulb

As above ive never had any problems with standard corsa b lenses with hids.

Id definantly go for 6000k too. 8000k are too chavvy and not as bright. 4300k-5000k are a tiny it brighter than the 6000k but i personally prefare the colour of the 6000k as they feel a bit more like 'daylight' and make reflective signs stick out very well.
