Are we able to visit our local depot to collect our mail? We didnt recieve mail yesterday and I dont think we will today.
I have a number of parcels expected already and im convinced they'll be at the depot, along with my undelivered mail.
Are we allowed to visit our depot to collect?

Indeed... Funny how no-one said a word when the BA staff went on strike
Does depend on the conditions, you'll probably find that most postman want to deliver, but are not allowed by management thanks to the wonderful claim culture we live in these days.
Every day they don't deliver all adds up to the day they start delivering again, meaning it weighs triple on those days.
It's been all right in Derby, so full service here, got a load of the oldies asking for shoe chains tho, like fireviper said, you might have noticed it being a tad slippy out there.

I ordered stuff from Play and Amazon on the same day, both lots were shipped on the same day, but only the Play stuff has come. And it came about a week ago
No post delivery at work yet.

The other thing is, it's not just the delivery, obviously it's the whole shipping process, I think most Amazon stuff comes from Swansea, or from indigo starfish, which is based in Jersey so i'd imagine they'll either be flights in to local airports or lorries. If it's flights then you're a bit screwed with all the closures etc. at the moment.
Lorries I would of thought would be fine tho.
