Are you sure? Positive? I know the story on Colonial Marines was supposed to be about the marines going and finding the Sulaco.

Different game tbh. Colonial Marines is stuck in development hell like Duke Nukem Forever I believe.

I'm cautiously looking forward to this, don't want to get my hopes up. If they get it right it will be my game of the forever, I adore the Aliens mythology. But odds on they will fuck it up with bad dialogue or a rubbish storyline or something.

Was that Lance Henriksen doing that voiceover by the way?

I also adore the Aliens mythology thats why secretly I wanted it to just be an Aliens and Marines thing and fuck the Predator off.

I'm sure Colonial Marines was being developed by Sega/Gearbox as well so this is why I'm confused.

According to a Kotaku article, Sega said that their new Aliens vs. Predator game to be released in early 2010 would be the first of their Aliens games to be released, meaning that Aliens: Colonial Marines will be sometime afterwards

I think the latter suits what I'm looking for in an Aliens game much better, especially when the Sulaco, LV426, the derelict and Fiorina "Fury" 161 are to be the main settings.

Also Syd Mead who designed the Sulaco interior has helped design parts of the Sulaco that wasn't included in the film (he designed the interior in the film)

would like an authentic aliens game, never been keen on the AvP stuff because the story behind it is rediculous and the films were shit

Yeah a whole new game engine as well. The way the last AvP played it did not feel that i thad moved on from the original 10 years ago.
