Anyway to get this cheaper?
I'm going into a new build with the sockets already connected. I assume BT will do their part remotely. Wish i could earn £124.99 is 3 minutes

Supposedly used to be able to ask for an 18 month contract and they waive the connection charge.
Not sure if that still goes on though, or whether they stopped doing it

I was in same position 8 months ago, either stump it up for BT or find the cheapest provider of their own home phone (I went with Sky as their connection charge was only £30 at the time when taking out their phone line)

FFS they never told me about that when I signed up! I am going to write a letter of complaint and see if I can get my cash back!
