2 things,
1) For the million times you wont be in a crash, how cool would it be to have a muscle car or something like that.
2) That crash video is technically not going to apply to a US car in the UK. Your olny going to hurt your passenger on that type of impact. Just take all the seats out and your conscience is clear

Passenger wouldn't have survived that either so you'd still be dead.

Could have also lost control of the car to the other side of the road and crashed in the same way.
Quite mental that vid though, as modern cars have high tensile steel for the cabin area, that prob has low grade steel everywhere.
