So you'll lock the car, leave it running for how ever long, 3mins for example and leave the car to go off and do your own thing? In this day and age, you may as well just leave your keys there as well.

A car running with no one in or around it is actually as good as a personal invitation to most chancers.

For the above reason is why I think they arn't worth it. For the sake of the last 5mins of your journey not going above 1.5k and waiting for a minute when you pull up. I know what i'd prefer.

What a load of shite lol

You can still lock the car and alarm it so its not as if anyone can just jump in

Plus 3 mins is a tad long, 45 secs is about the norm for a timer.

Don't bother with it mate there pretty pointless.

You'd have to literally cane it on the motorway...come off on a slip road etc and turn the engine straight off for it to have a mojor effect.

Sitting in the car with the engine running for about 2 minutes in these circumstances are enough.

even if they cant take it, it will encourage them to fiddle with it and draw attention to em.

Exactly. Just draws un-wanted attention. And no, so for the last 5mins of your journey, if you take it easy the turbo timer isn't actually doing anything worth while?
