Right in this weather my door locks have a habbit of freezing solid! I have to open the lock by key as my fob is broken, does anyone know how to stop this happening as having to pour hot water on the lock isn't practical!
Thanks
Tom

Some people say breathe in the lock, or warm the key up. I suppose a little de-icer wudn't hurt also.

Use a hairdryer, that's what a bloke at work had to do on his Mini

If you don't have anything to get rid of the ice, best way is to breathe in the key hole, takes about 10-20 seconds but works!
