Bought ma new car today

Thats the only upside lol

Downsides...

On way down the old owner slid on black ice and hit a pole damaging the near perfect bodykit...

I then phone insurance tell them about the car and immedeatly they turn into some kind of computer, blurting that they cannot insure the car because of my age blah blah blah, all that shit

Closest quote ive found to anywhere near price budget is 2600 from Adrian Flux and thats only 3rd party Fire and Theft... :/

I have 3 options here...

1. I re-sell the car to make some money... (really dont want to)

2. I move the car up to a house in blackpool with one of my step dad's mates who will look after it and help me do work on it when i get the parts i want for it

3 I pay £3000 for insurance and then have no money for insurance next year

What do i do?!

Oh btw the car is a 2000 'W' reg Vauxhall Corsa 1.4 sport with a couple of mods (not sure to declare them or not... :/)

No pictures of car yet, will be able to get some monday probably

You bought a car without getting a proper quote done?

And yes, do declare everything, more so if it has a kit

So the quotes last two weeks, and you got it five weeks ago, and you're now surprised that they're not honouring it?

Maybe this is the kind of thing you should check out BEFORE buying the car

If the guy crashed it before you bought it its not your problem. Have him keep it till its fixed. And until you can afford it.

I'm 20, have 1 years NCB and drive a 1.5 Yaris T-sport. I paid £500 for my insurance. If you pay £3000 you need shot.

Go with your mum as main driver with you as a named driver
