Been with my girlfriend since March last year, so this valentines will be our first!

Thinking of doing something really special. Maybe a few nights in Rome as we have always wanted to go.

Never usually bother with anything!

What's everyone else got planned?

Mate, in all seriousness don't take her to Rome on your first date. Because when you get further into your relationship she will expect this sort of shit all the time.

Take her in 5 years if you are still together she will appreciate it more.

True. Flights are only £143 inc luggage for both of us!

Managed to resist going mad at xmas on presents for her.

Will give it some more thought.

its her birthday on valentines day, so were going to celebrate our valentines day the weekend after.
I'm taking her to Dublin for a long weekend, staying at the O'Callaghan Davenport hotel which looks pretty nice, also got an amazing deal. Getting her a new camera also as hers is funked.

I'd say to soon tbh.

Took the Ex to Paris 2 years after being together, 2 months after that she left me. As Ollie said, if in 5 years your still together not only would she appreciate it more but she'd also realise its not treatment she'd be getting every year.

Imagine the let down she will get next year when you give her a bunch of flowers from the petrol station and not tickets to Rome, you get my drift?
