been trying to find a whistle thats coming from my car.
gets louder as a accelerate.
so looking round the engine bay i find a small yellow pipe that isnt connected.
it comes from behind the inlet to near the battery
what is it and would it cause a whistle?

not ran any refs over recently though eck
its still whistling with that pipe on
cant really hear it outside the car
pissing me off

i'd say it the whistling isnt that as i cant here it outside the car

the whistling coming from the large diameter pipe that connects the upper manifold to the throttle body? ie split or clip has come off?

Sure the whistling isn't coming from the speakers? Can happen if they're not earthed properly or something.
