A lot of people put them in the oven

unless they are depos you will have to butcher them off.

keep it on a low temp and keep taking them out and try to split them, if not then up the temp

If they have depo stamped on them then its easy, I used a heatgun but suppose you could use a hair dryer to heat up the glue, take the metal clips off and off they pop after being warmed up.

Me and a mate attempted it with valeo headlights and just failed miserable, smashed the glass it just didn't want to come off.
If you don't have depo headlights then see if you can find some in a scrappy, my local one charged me £20 for a set.

they do have depo stamped on the glass at front

You can also remove all elertrical bits from them, and put in a bucket of boiling/hot water, takes a bit longer but it adventually melts.
