After my poor show on the dyno today im not sure what to do next...

117 lbs ft of torque
and thats with...
Kent fast road cams
Full magnex with de-cat
4 branch manifold
BMC CDA
Magnecor leads with Denso irridium plugs
It has just turned 91k and has full history and has been serviced regularly
Can the cams being not dialled in properly cause such bad figures?
Been looking at better and faster cars since i got home but i love the corsa!

Id bet the inlet manifold is whats holding it back.
It may feel quick on the road,but with a mantzel or the likes,itl feel a whole lot quicker.

Was looking at they inlets from flame but they send the EML on so im told

They've got no reason to put the eml on, you're not disconnecting anything, just removing the stupidly restrictive inlet.

In my experience, yes - incorrectly timed Cams, even 1 tooth out, could cause poorer performance
But i'd also look at the Inlet Manifold as already suggested...

mine brought the eml on as i said but it does fuck all and even turns itself off after a while, never bothered me, never bothered the engine in the whole time i had it. If your worried about EML etc why dont you just xe it?

I can understand where your coming from but if you get an XE your always better to rebuild it unless its just been done. Tuning a 1.6 is a bit like pissing in the wind i thought.
If i spent the same amount of money that i did on my 1.6 i would have had a very strong XE but i was niave and wanted to be different, which in my mind failed.

If you get an inlet and a map you will see around 130, maps the expensive bit though. Once the cams are set up and raised rev limit you will be laughing. I never raised the limit on mine, thats when i gave up.
