the other way round ?
Hows that working then does air weigh more than diesel ?
Think about it. Get an empty bucket and its well easy to pick it up, then fill that bucket with water, its a lot harder to pick it up. Just like the petrol in the car.

Could it be that you have a lot of residue floating around in the bottom of your petrol tank?

fuel looses its octane over time. most folk usually only have over half a tank if they've recently filled it up (i.e. fresh petrol) hence burning better.

complete blag that but it sounds good. ha ha

sometimes, cos the engine is pulling fuel from bottom of tank, its easier for fuel pump to do so with a full tank because of the extra gravity, less fuel means lower pressure at bottom of tank.

The extra weight in the back of the car due to the fuel lifts the front of the car up lowering the amount of weight on the front wheels allowing them to turn alot easier.

got nothing to do with pressure or lack of fuel or weight transfer lol.

Personally i think ur imagining it, also think there is a placebo effect of just having filled ur car up that makes u think its goin faster.

Like how if u use 10K boost even though it made f all difference u really can feel it pull like a bitch

It could be connected with fuel starvation problems, alot of cars have this and tend to run poorly if they don't have much fuel in the tank. Just an possibility.
