hello ive just bought the plates from Chris Astley Motorsport to do the rear disc conversion and im getting Mk3 Astra 1.8 GSI Rear hubs, what cables will i need, corsa long and nova short? do i have to modify where the two cables join??? is there anything else i need to get? i only bought the plates not the kit cheers

handbrake cables are different on disks to drums you need MK2 astra cable

what both short and long mate? why mk astra ones mate? seen a few things bout nova short and a corsa long//

if you are doing resr disks, the handbrake cable is different to drums, all the people i now that have done it and spoke to about it have used MK2 astra cable

ah rite ok cheers mate i didnt know if this depended on if the some had shoes inside or the caliper to act as the handbrake depending on what hubs were used?? will look into soon as they arrive

how much has it cost you to do this? Don't think anybody here likes drums...

:thumbson`t need disc`s Root, cars to lite on back end to warrent them mate.
