i think thats pretty good actually. and keep the colour as it will get thier attention instead of the boring black and white schemes that are the norm.

Just sort out spelling and delete the student bit at the top. wouldnt really go into too much detail about past jobs etc personally as your not really going to be going for the professional jobs at the moment so just best keep it simple and precise like it is.

Good idea to attempt something different.

In my honest opinion though, it's like you're worried that your CV can't be two pages or more long and you've crammed it all in.

I think it'd be better over two pages, with information readable from left to right (Across the whole page). Spell check it though as there's a couple of errors.

For your interests, go into a little more detail, example "I enjoy photography, I go on various days out in my spare time to places such as... blah blah". "I enjoy playing about with my car, going to car shows etc etc..."

As for your previous job history, you'll be needing to write a line or two about your duties, what you did etc. If possible why you left also.

You also need some referenes on there, so employer's can do a check on you to see if you're genuine. These cannot be family or close friends.

Whittie has it covered, you def need more info on there, and you need to make it easier to read.

I dont agree you need references on there though, personally Id just say they are available upon request. Potential employers legally cant contact them (even if they are on the CV) without you giving permission, so makes little difference if they are there or not. Also allows you to give them ones you think will be more specific to the job you're applying for.

Yeah, it's no biggie if it's not there. It just speeds the process up I guess.

When you go to apply for jobs, go into these places in person, don't just email them.

Too much wasted space. Personally I wouldn't have marital status on and stuff like that, it isn't relevent.

You also need stuff around what skills you posses rather than just a list of where you worked. This depends on what job or wwhere the CV is going, Generic CV's that you hand out to everyone are pretty much useless.
