Hi all, Bought a Vectra ST at the end of last week very cheap Due to the Gearbox mount failing! (Pics to Follow)

Im after the best way to Remove 2 broken bolts from the gear box? I was going to try easy out has anyone had any experiences with it? or can anyone recoomend any other ways thanks!

one of the bolts has snapped off flush with the gearbox and the other has snapped off about 5mm into the gearbox so theres no way of gripping them!

Had exactly the same problem on my golf mate, i drilled into the middle of the bolt with a very small drill bit and then used a tap+dye set to get the bolt out.

Use a punch or similar but dont hit it too hard as you don't want to mess up the thread in the GB.

The Standard wheels are only 16's though and look tiny in Vectra Arches!

I think some White Vaux 17's are a must!

I used the same method you did for one of them, then the other one the Drill bit snagged into the bolt so stuck it in reverse and it came out with the drill bit Winner
