My Mrs is after a new car, she really wants to stick with a Vectra though and fancies the 3l Diesel. She does a lot of motorways miles so i'm just hoping they are a nice cruiser really.

Anybody got any experience of them?

Why not go for a 1.9CDTi or 2.0DTi. Will do the same on the motorway but use less juice. It just won't be as 'exciting' getting to motorway cruising speeds.

The 3.0 V6 diesels aren't the best, when they go wrong they go wrong big time.

1.9cdti is a better option.

Very good choice, get it mapped

But yea, anything with 6 gears would have been a good choice for cruising
