Benitez's agent Manuel Garcia Quilon said: "I have had no contact with Juventus or with any other Italian club regarding an interest on Rafa."

So he's had contact with other clubs just not in Italy

According to Stevie G it was a point gained rather than 2 lost. I can see why he'd say that. Wolves are a good team...

The thing is he has been fucked over by injuries all season and he doesnt have the money on a United or Chavski so he can have £18m players waiting to come in and fill in from the bench - but he has the same expectations put on him by fans and media as both of those teams.

I mean this season we have had the following players out for fairly lengthy periods...Agger, Aurelio, Skrtel, Johnson, Benayoun, Mascherano, Aquilani, Gerrard, Riera, Babel, Torres.

You'd defend him even if he murdered somebody.

I think for his swan song and just to complete the job of screwing Liverpool up he should sell Torres and Gerrard

Im not defending him, as if he doesnt finish top 4 at the end of the season I'll agree he should go - but only then.

I do however feel he has done as well as any other manager would of done given the situation.
