Been doing a bit more messing with the wifes tdi, originally started life as a 140bhp 2ltr tdi, changed the air filter to the pipercross VIS kit and put a dirty smokey remap on it this had it at 201bhp and 365lbft.
Soon got bored of that so had a chat with our turbo supplier to see what they could do to the turbo, new reworked one turned up so fitted that and for good measure changed the intercooler to one with aluminium end tanks over the standard plastic end tank intercooler which tends to leak as standard.
just finished the remap on it this afternoon, power is now up to 236bhp and 370lbft of torque, would have liked more torque from it but didnt want to run any more boost, fantastic to drive on the road, power band is so much wider now.

anyway, pics:

I still think we can get closer to the 400lbft figure. We shall see what we can do in the morning.
Warren, I would love to see what the vauxhall engine can produce, let me know when you have one

That's my only concern to be honest, seems ok so far! Power is a little less agressive on the road now so should last a bit longer

Jambo, imagine a mineral grey jetta, now lower it about 35mm. job done!

JR, what did you need help on?

got some more tricks to try on it but needed to bring my car in today for tyres so will have to wait till tomorrow sadly, may see it pushing the 400lbft mark...

thats great power from on the first run with just a filter and a map

does it not need a clutch?

what sort of power/torque can you get from a mk4 golf tdi 130?
