Hello,
Just to let you guys know that a number of people from CS have booked up for a trip to the Nurburgring in May 2010.
We're departing our fine country on the 21st (Friday) of May until the 28th (Friday)
If you seriously fancy coming along then I'd suggest looking into hotel bookings now as they seem to get booked up pretty quick. The weekend and week currently looks packed with TF (most of the week day sessions are evening only) and the GP circuit will be open too which is always good fun.
As it stands I know the following people are going to be there around that time:
Jr
Lee303
SpanishFly
Ojc
Andy Stocker
Steve
fast-as-u-can
AdamF
Animal
Brian_S
Alan P (fast-as-u-can dad)
Janet P(fast-as-u-can mum)
Most of us are staying in or around Adenau which is a busy town/village near the village of Nurburg itself, its where all the evening activities typically happen.
A group of us will be on the 0830 Ferry from Dover and a 1825 Ferry from Calais (on the way home!) using P&O Ferries, you can check Google and http://www.nurburgring.org.uk/ for places to stay and general information about planning a trip.
Cheers.

the later ferry is on the way home
GP is open monday and tuesday evenings, apparently if TF isn't on for whatever reason when it should then the GP track will be open.

so far
ferry 60 odd
sharing an apartment so thats about 50 but will need to buy food, hotels can cost up to 120 EUR a night depending where you go and how many of you share!
100-200 for eating out (thats a big estimate as I cant remember )
Maybe between 300-500 on laps and petrol, I have no idea how much I spent last time tbh
I'm sure theres loads of other costs I've forgotten, also the possibility of smashing my car to shit (cat c yo!!) and getting a bill for armco/closures, as a guide I think the crash in our group last year resulted in an invoice of approximately 2k EUR. Thats without the cost of the car.
