My mate brought this Tshirt back with him after a holiday, and i loved it.
Its by a graffitti artist called Banksy.
What you all think?

Id probably just get it all black.
Over my shoulder blade or something?
Itd be my first tatoo, and i hate all the chinese/arabic/stars/tribal tatoos that EVERYONE has.

Personally I'd have something that was my own artwork rather than someone elses.

Start with a small tattoo mate. You get used to having it permanantly and also to see what the pains like. As a tattoo though i cant see it looking right unless you had the woman by your ankle and the butterflies going up your leg.

Ive always wanted to be a tattoo artist. I can do the ideas and to a limit i can do the drawing but im not brilliant at it. You would probably have to move the gun downwards a bit and then point it towards the underneath of the chin for it to look right. If you wanted i could have a go at designing something for you if you wanted to change the butterflies or have more or less of them etc?

Ye ribs and side is said to be the most painful place to get a tattoo. No-one can make the decision where to get it though mate thats your choice. I got one on my wrist/forearm and then a few weeks later i saw someone with the exact same tattoo on their chest. Pissed me off just a bit

I think that would be a great tattoo, but do not be changing butterflys for bats. It's not girly and I kinda like the juxtaposition between the violence of the suicide and the softness of the butterflies.

+1
I would take this to a good artist and ask him to draw up something based around it. I would be very disappointed if I ever
A - saw someone with the same tattoo as me
B - saw my tattoo as someones t-shirt
but thats just me

Funny you bring this up now, I was at a tattoo convention on Sunday, and a girl there was getting a VERY similar tattoo.
Was amazingly well done, will try find some photos.

Id normally agree with you about the original artwork thing, but considering this is a very famous artist I wouldnt see anything wrong with getting an exact copy of it.
Personally Id get it on your lower leg and have the butterflies going round and up a bit.

go to the shop with the design, get a good artist, not some mongal tracer.
then get him to cusomise it to what you want, you can get it printed on your body..so you can see exactly what it'll look like!
Any good tattoo shop will do this, if they do..avoid.

His work is pretty humerous. I like it. But as shelley says, dont change it.
