I was having a great day today, was down at a software conference @ Microsoft Campus, the sun was out... everything was good.
Then I decided on the way home, since the sun was out, I'd put the top down
Unfortunately, the recent spell of cold weather / snow / ice must of completely wrecked my plastic rear screen on my s2000. The screen started going down and then I heard 'CRACK'...
Bugger... A hole, and two cracks in a V shape making a flap which I could put my fist through.
Now I know it's a long shot... but does anyone know anywhere southern that can replace the plastic screens? I know it can be done, but just don't know anywhere local.
Thanks.

When I was looking for M3 I found various people on ebay that offer the service, might be worth a look?

Saw the picture before the text and thought someone had put the screen in with a ball or something

Ah sore one bud! I always used to blast the heaters on mine before ever putting it down as I think it's a major design flaw in the S2K
Hope you can get it repaired or just fork out for the Mugen hard top

Plastic screens ftl....
My Z3 began to leak in 2 places and was quoted about £600 for a new roof. Will look much fresher/newer and wont be brittle. Maybe a red roof??

excuse for a hard top
keep an eye on the market for a second hand one. ALthough I am sure someone with some skill in that area could replace the screen

I haven't had my roof down since September. Was tempted to the other day just to clear the cobwebs out. Now I'm scared to do it

I know what you mean about mgf's. I always unzip the window before pulling back the roof now.

Quick Google threw up: http://www.autotrimmer.co.uk/index.html
Alternatively, drop Tom a message, he may know somebody - he has contacts for most things these days!
