Who has seen it and what did you think ? I was very disappointed to be honest. Just seemed to be all the same all the time and got rather boring.

Think the acting was a poor effort tbh, can't remember hearing a single attempt at a German accent in the entire film.

Never really understood this point of view, do Germans speak German to each other with an accent? if you notice at the beginning he's speaking in German then it fades in to English, in other words demonstrating that he's meant to be speaking in German all the time. Much better than having the actors attempt a comedy kraut voice TALKINK LIKE ZISS YAA

Yeah but the point in acting is to portray the character you are playing as accurately as possible, any actor worth there salt should be able to approximate there characters accent to a reasonable level (or atleast attempt it).

it would of been horrendous if they had all been speaking English with a German accent. It was only weird for about 1 minute then it didn't cross my mind or bother me that they all had their normal accents.

downfall is an amazing film, if you haven't seen it, perhaps you probably should. one of the best scenes has been ruined for me now though, with all those online protrayals of what Hitler's saying

The scene which you refer to Andy when Hitler is told that the Russians are in the suburbs of Germany and when Hitler finally conceeds that all is lost.

Brings a tear to my eye.
