I have no idea about power of guns, pellets, co2...it all means nothing to be.

I just need a cheap gun powerful enough to cause damage to some random objects such as fruit and CD's

Would it need to be co2 or would a spring style work ? Just need one for the weekend for a photo shoot and not a clue what to buy

Buy a .22 air riffle.

I've got a 0.43 CO2 rubber bullet pistol if you want to buy it.. but its not cheap!

Any gun shop will sell you a cheap .22 for 50 quid or less, got a second hand BSA for £40 in my local one

Just get gas blowback BB gun, they usually have a feet per second power of 320 and will easily go through cans and CD's
