not as reliable is what you mean, it will cost you more and not be as good. lets are a very proven engine on here, a few really nice 1s.... every thread ive read about turbo charging n/a engines on here end with the car being sold due to problems

people on here tend to say 4k + for a decent conversion, i have never done it so couldnt really say, you could buy an engine and box for 1000 then need mounts, shafts, rebuilding ect lot of work, so buying an xe doint the work and also extre work to turbo it

you would be lucky to get a let for about a grand +? they sell for silly money!!

There are quite a few people out there who have turbocharged 8v's and achieved good results. Just depends on if you want an 8v or a 16v and what sort of performance you're looking for.
