How do you lock it up? cant get it off to do the timing... Engine is still on the car btw

put the car in gear, might need someone on the brakes if your handbrake is rubbish.

Not on that end of the engine, might be able to lock the flywheel somhow.

I was thinking of taking the starter motor off and locking the flywheel
