A few years ago Brian Dennehy was in a film where he abused teenage boys, his performance was so convincing that my Dad now hates every film he is in

My Mum also said she can't stand Joaquin Phoenix after his role in Gladiator.

Surely its a sign of a good actor if they make you hate them after a convincing film role!

Robert Knepper who played T-Bag in Prison Break received death threats from people as the character he played was a paedophile/rapist/murderer/racist

He will probably get typecast into roles now as a villain. Usually happens to actors when they play such a convincing role.

Just finished watching Prison Break. Robbed my bros DVD set that a got him for christmas and watched all 4 series in a month

Absolutely quality show. I need something else now

I'd like to agree with you but I just seem to like him for some reason, I thought he was good in Mean Machine acting a bit slow
