been noticing it for a while now, people paining things black on their cars, seems to be a trend thats taking the piss now, started with wheels, then bonnets, roofs ect

then I just noticed this astra, do people think this looks good or is it just me?

Looks awful imo! I can understand painting trim thats black plastic in black as it saves the maintenance of it with products, but not keen on the rest of the trend in general.

it's fucking hideous. looks like he's had it repaired and is waiting for it to be painted the correct colour.

do't get me wrong, some other bits look fantastic, like the wheels, grille and side mouldings, and the fog light surrounds.

grille loogs good and the fogs as mentioned, but wtf is going on with the splitter, and the mirrors

wheels and grill - yes in the right car and colour but everything else like mirrors just makes it look pov spec.

TBH I hate most things being shiny black. I can accept wheels if they are slightly matt, even certain body parts, but nothing that much.
