Right, i was on my step dad's policy driving his car, but he said he has taken me off it, but its been over a week and no insurance papers have come through, is they a way of finding out if am insured as a named driver or not? Because the car is actually mine, just its in my step dad's name and on his policy due to my age.

Apart from calling the insurance company and posing as him (presumably you'll know his DOB for security etc), I can't think of anything else. Not exactly legal tho 
Sounds a bit harsh anyway..?

Yup, you'll have to phone up. Just make sure you have all the security checks, like full name, dob, policy number.

Yeah Brett, he was trying to prove a point, that hes the ' bigger ' man by taking me off insurance, even tho it's made it harder for him self, as he drives like like 10/12 hours every day, delieving, so he has got to do all the running around aswel, which i use to do instead of him.

Do you reckon if i went to the police station, they will tell me who's insured on it? Just say i just don't want to drive with no insurance, and fort i better check then be safe then sorry?
