The past year everyone knows that Corkscrew has been demolished (thank god), and finally has a replacement. By what I've read and heard and those few pictres it looks/sounds really good.
It's called Thirteen and will be unveiled on 20th March 2010.

i went last year and corkscrew wasnt there then... hadnt been for years b4 that tho, and as far as i remember, corkscrew used to be where rita is now?

Corkscrew was taken down at end of 08 IIRC, it was there Sept 08 as I went on it, but not in Sept 09.
I liked the corkscrew, you always got straight on it cos there was no queue!

Not really sure if Rita did actually replace the 'neck breaker'. But the new coaster is where The Corkscrew was.

walkers crisps?^ lol they normaly do the deal every year or its in the sun but ye if your way is easier il have some suppose to be going in may timish

i was there last year. they had just let the last lot of people on it before it closed. rita didn't replace it. they are just right next to each other.

i went at the end of last season when they had started building it, looked really good then, my mate lives just down the road so may have to make another visit

It'll be intresting to see the "dark forest" wonder if they'll totally change that stupid ug land theme. Be a bit strange having a forest In the middle of it
has anything been done with the black hole yet? Was closed last time I went and everything blacked out.. Shame as it was actually quite good

has anyone got any info on this ride other than the official website? I know it's highly secret and tbf Alton Towers do hide info quite well. But they're claiming it'll be another world first á la Oblivion and Nemesis.
Just wondering what it'll be? Hardly looks spectacular from the videos on that site?

Sounds like hype Cavey. Just been reading up on it and AT reckon they might have to put an age limit on the ride because it's too scary.

the black hole was good indeed, think it became to dangerous coz it was so old and the just havent done anything with it.
