any ideas wha mpg a corsa sport 1.4 16v should do as mine is only doing bout 25 theres gota be something wrong

Cold weather brings MPG down, but thats pretty bad.

I've avgd 25 in the 350 which is 2.5 x the capacity

Not sure about my mpg but mine done like 270 miles on about £65 worth of petrol, sometimes i will use no petrol then will start it the next day and it will all just go

True, they aren't the most accurate of needles/sensors!

I get around 20-25mpg, i persume it's just the way i drive trying to keep up with mates in faster cars haha

persuming petrol was £1.11 per litre thats 58.5 litres (or 15.45 gallons)

270/15.45 = 17.5mpg!!??

I know and i dont even thrash it, not very often anyway, maybe when going down slip roads to match the speed of the other traffic quickly but nothing excessive

round town i get about 30mpg and thats if i drive it under 3,000rpm over that and im drinking a tank in 100miles..

on a run tho its ace must be getting 50mpg if not more, i get from mine to bornemouth on 1.5 didgets on the fuel gague and thats 122miles..
