I still listen to them occasionally but hated their performance at Download, whatever year it was. It seems Amy had forgotten how to sing or just couldn't be bothered anymore and since I have seen them live in 2003, I know they are or at least were awesome. I think Amy is the only original member left now. Defo not the same without Ben Moody imo.

Fuck Evanesence. The musics good, first album was awesome, but cant stand Amy Lee. She's fit, but sacked the entire band for no good reason. Then the music got shit. They were nothing new. If you like them, listen to the likes of Within Temptation, Nightwish, Lacuna Coil. There all so much better, if slightly different.
Oh....female fronted symphonic metal is my "thing" btw

The three bands you just named are NOTHING like Evanescence, other than the fact they are a female fronted rock band.

I think Amy is or at least was a genuinely nice girl but some stuff happened to her with the lawsuits and prehaps fame went to her head and she got power mad. Tbh, the guitarist she fired was wank anyways 
Lacuna Coil are still my fav band but was disappointed by their last album.
Will never beat Comalies me thinks.
