i got a chip on my windscreen which is starting to turn into a crack, and have see seen that auto glass said its normal free if you got fully comp insurance and wont affect my NCB. first how does that?surely wouldnt it be classes as a claim?secondly how would i fine out if i can get it done free without affecting my NCB?thirdly if my insurance doesnt cover the cost of repair, how much does it normally cost?

If it's a crack it will be a new windscreen, normally £70 excess and it doesn't affect your ncb.
Phone the numbe ron your insurance docs and find out.

na its not a big crack, its about 4mm either side of the chip

halfords do a chip repair glue thingy £30 i think it is.. but also can be found on ebay.
