I remember another thread but can't find it now.

Im looking for a helmet for trackdays, so I don't have to keep borrowing a mates. I've only done 1 trackday so far but that was with a full face helmet and I didn't really like it, especially if your trying to talk to people with it on! Also I don't want to spend loads, but still want something of decent quality that will last

So want an open face one, does this look alright? http://www.ybracing.co.uk/page1.php?sitepage=4&area4=&subarea=234&part=2129

What have you got?

any reason why?

rally drivers wear open face ones and they have a greater risk in crashing and object coming through teh screen, granted they do have extensive cages though.

not sure really... just dont fancy my chances with an open face in crash. They must be safe enough, but not in my heed.

I'd NEVER wear an openface on a bike.

I thik thats just a feeling.... the side view from the helmets (say similar open face vs full face OMP) is pretty much the same.

Obviously every helmet has to pass a test but the government tests are stupid, they say Arai (one of the best/expensive makes) are one of the worst performing, BS
