Going by them pics, i would of thought that is your transponder, i dont know for sure though

If you're taking the transponder out you'll want the chip from the key to go with it as well before its scrapped

the piece in the top righthand corner is the transponder from 1.4/1.6 sports

does look slightly differebt to what u have in your pic :S
