Need 2 front tyres very soon in 195 45 16 and been looking at continental sport contact 3's and yoko s-drives.dont wanna spend anymore than £100 for a pair and dont want toyos again.

Which is better out those 2?

Don't blame you for not wanting Toyo's, mine are terrible in the wet

The S-drives on the B seem pretty good imo, fairly good in the wet and good in the dry. I don't have much to compare it to though.

Good point, I think that F1's are slightly more than S-drives but I may be wrong People always seem to rate them though.

havent looked into 16's but my 15's are well under that budget and they are an ace tyre

Think the F1s are a lot more in 16s.

Yeah i know what you mean Dave about toyos in the wet.

Just wait till you have to use them in bad snow they turn into slicks

just type your type size in on ebay
e.g 195/45-16

and see what comes up, usually really good prices on there with companises competing.

Sure mine were about £55 a corner all in, need some new ones soon tho so I s'pose I'll be finding out

f1's far better than s drive. conti are ok but f1's should last longer.

My F1s have lasted quite well imo.

I went through a pair of Yoko A539s on the front in around 12 months.

I've had the F1s on the front for 25 months now and they're getting low. Still got some life left in them although the grip levels have been deteriorating over the last month or so.

ive got pirelli p zero nero in that size, cant fault them in the dry although theyre a little slippy in the wet...

I got two Toyo Proxes T1R delivered for £64 and they've spot on even in the snow.

Can't remember which F1's are supposedly better out of GS-D2 and GS-D3 but this is the price for each: GS-D3, GS-D2, S-drives.

Glad to hear that... not I've got Proxed 4's, don't know if they're good or not Going with not great so far.

d3 is newer. Although getting phased out for asymetric f1.

toyo are internet hyped. They are ok but not as good as people make out. Its just what people say to look cool.

My mate who runs a McConechys franchise also thinks toyos are shit better off with a fulda for the same money
