Anyone here with as RS account had it terminated? As I just got an e-mail telling me mine has been cancelled as I've downloaded some copyrighted files.

mate it will be a pshing scam contact rapidshare directly they will reset your password.

I'm not sure, they have my username and password on the e-mail, so I don't think it'll be a scam

Basically you will only become a victim of that if you arent careful and have been "phished" by entering your logon details to what you thought was Rapidshare when you clicked a link

gutted, yeah phising scam if they havent alreayd changed your logon details. AT least they have a free RS account now

I never entered my details into any other site, as I was permenantly logged in, and I have been for nearly 2 years as I always re-new it.
Maybe its all caught up with me

probably hacked your email or brute forced your password.
check for keyloggers, etc.
then change all your passwords to everything you use.

What can I use to check for a keylogger? any reccomended programs? I've never had to use one before.

update and run your anti-virus program
update and run spybot search and destroy
update and run malwarebytes http://www.malwarebytes.org/
check your running processes

I pay for mine yearly, and I let my mate use it, but change the PW after the day is over so he can't use it more than me
