just resversed into next doors car should of wiped the snow off. cracked back light and bumper, his needs a new wing gutted i feel all silly now

i reversed into a big red metal gate at work and made a bit of a mess of spoiler and bootlid on corsa. i was distracted by my mate waving and shouting at me that the gate was shut so i didnt notice the gate being shut.

For small annoyances like this, I do wonder why you guys are so quick to de-wiper your cars....

I left mine on for exactly reasons like that. We live in the UK, the weather is constantly shit not to have one imho.

I thought about de-wipering mine so i drove around for a couple weeks without using it and couldn't stand not being able to see out the rear window so didn't bother.

dont ever go near a van with no rear windows you cant be trusted

i do think driving tests should be taken in vans so drivers learn to use there mirrors

When my back window is snowy, I just turn on heated rear window, and wait for about 2 minutes

Just use your mirrors like van drivers do

ive not got mine so i just use my other two mirrors
plus i drive a long wheel base transit at work some times

first time i have had a reverse related incident the whole time i have been driving. feel rather silly about it now. need to find the guy another wing for his golf now

Used to have to use the mirrors when reversing whilst driving the C Combo at my old work, I kept going to look at the rear view mirror forgetting that it wasn't there

I was too quick to de-wiper mine, accidentally chopped rear heater wire in the process too, so that's no rear window demister and no wiper, but I get on fine
