Vibs admin decided that we were to remove pointless spam on principle, it pushes the real threads to the bottom, generally clutters the board etc etc. Just means we have to do a lot of house keeping. The board is constantly being pruned to keep it running smoothly and quickly.

but where do you draw the line between pointless and chat in a general chat forum. any help or advice should be sought in the relavent forum. general chat is an area where you chat abot nothign in particular.

Sometimes young lads come in and in an attempt to prove themselves to their mates they crack a bottle over someones head. Similairy you`ll get a bloke or collections of blokes who have been on the piss all day and start hassling couples/groups that are just out for a laugh. Who do you turn to then?? sometimes these people have to be crushed when diplomacy fails.
Its not the big hard c***s that cause the hassle, Most of the people that we have to physically remove are generally young pissed up lads who think they are vinny jones. probably like you
