My head unit doesnt have a remote turn on connection. Any one know which wire i can run to the amp so tht it turns on when I turn on the ignition?

You'll need to run a 12V switching live from the battery, done it in the past.

Which is the best place to find one? And how do I use it without taking power away from whatever its from?

Just plug it into the red or yellow wires from the back of the headunit mate. Check that the amp goes off though if it doesnt youve got the wrong one just swap it over

plug it into the ciggie lighter, its alot less hassle

cut into the red wire on the head unit, thats the switch live so will come on with the ignition..failing that cut into the yellow wire the permanent live or battery live into a switch out of the switch into the amp can turn on or off whenever you want then
