headgasket has just gone on my corsa gutted only had it 3 week and started doing some sutle mods .Its guna cost me a fortune wonder if it be worth me buying a new engine ????

New engine? Just get it fixed, about £300-£400, would cost you more than that for a new engine and someone to fit it.

Got mine from euro parts £10 and head bolts are £14 and to get head skimmed £20

bets advise i can offer is buy a haynes manual
have a read through on how to do head gasket, and if you think your up for it, give it a go yourself
best way to learn, is to jump in at the deep end, otherwise, pay a garage a nice large wedge for them to do it
