Is there any way that the cops can check if you have insurance or not by the roadside?

if u are thinking of doping some dodgy insurance fraud then dont as its little bastids that do that make my insurance lude. I would like to not be insured and drive but its just plain out of order on people who do pay and in turn pay for those without - just bite the bullet and pay for the proper insurance.

I'm with LoudCorsa on this.

Ain't worth the hassle it causes not having insurance. If you crash and your not covered, or your insurance is void because of undeclared mods you're pretty much screwed. Penalty points, fine, cost of repairing other car.

Maybe, but compared to Romford Corsa's special radio where he checks out how long is Vib's schlong, how peachy is Ollie's ass, etc.

Radio1 struggles to compete.
