For those in the loop, today was the day
After a year and a bit of ownership, the punto has gone
I was never really impressed tbh, always felt a bit too "normal" and "sensible"
So last week, i test drove a car we took in px for a MiTo
It just so happened to be a 2003 Civic Type R in pristine condition with just 23k on it
Fell in love almost instantly and agreed a deal and after what feels the longest week ever
Tonight i brought home this:
The amount of banter i've had from colleagues this week trying to wind me up about this car has been epic

Aye you did
I'm never serving you again
Younger spikey haired guy or older long haired hippy?
And P.s Graham, its just pre facelift.. you probably used to seeing the later ones with fog light holes?
I'm gonna save for a mugen lip me thinks, it looks like its trying to eat up small rodents at the minute

Fro - Apart from feeling like I need the physique of a chinese contortonist to fit in the seats it drives 100x better than the Punto.. Still getting used to it fully.. Power steering feels heavier than the punto too.
I am missing cruise control and blue and me however.. I drive on the m6 quite often to pick the mrs up, drove the back way there to get a feel for the car, came back the m6 and my ankle was aching

It's just completely standard pre facelift.. I know they are different on post facelift and have more of a clear section

Your foot has grown weak due to cruise control.
Glad you're enjoying it

just looking through the book pack and scribbled on the alarm manual was "k&n panel filter fitted dd/mm/yr"
I can't remeber the exact date but I supose that's a bit of a bonus if it's still fitted
pissed off with myself too, part of the deal was 2 wheel refurbs, had the rears done thursday..
Just dropped Laura home for work, dropped of the edge of the kerb by accident and scuffed the n/s/r
Nothing lasts forever eh
