Evo 9 FQ-320 (light weight version with alloy roof and bonnet)

http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1462804.htm

picked it up earlier..

its got yokohama road legal semi slicks on at the moment but he plans to run another set of alloys for everyday use and then the semi slicks in the summer (dry use)

plans:

tracker
MR bits - carbon fibre splitter, shark fins on roof, spoiler sides
18" black comps (i think)

very nice drive, power delivery is smooth but it just puts you back in your seat with ease obviously.

sure is sean, also thats why all the evo 8 owners are after the evo 9 rear bumpers.

dont look evil looking at the moment imo, but im sure with the add ons it will look as good as it goes..

filled it up with £60 of v power and tried the right pedal to see what it does and 30-100mph was just silly..

cheers daz, its very quiet inside tbf, just a subtle rumble, hes thinking about getting a de-cat pipe (obviously remove it for the mot, but easy job as its just bolted on) but hes not sure, as he doesnt really want to mess with the power side of things.

hes the 4th owner on the logbook, i was like 4 owners but hes actually the 2nd..

ralliart actually bought it themselves
65 bloke bought it (who died)
j performance bought it (just detailed it and kept it in storage)
then my step dad bought it from them

the thing is with evos and similar cars, people buy them for 12months, cant afford to run/maintain them and have to sell them on, which is why the owners go up..

very nice.

i'd have to relocate the fog light into the little insert where the reg/ plate is and get it all smoothed in but that's being anal about things.

The lightweight version is called the RS. This is far from the light weight model.
